IDRO to Revive and Renovate 20 Big Leading Industries

Deputy Minister of Industry, Mine and Trade and Head of Industrial Development and Renovation Organization (IDRO) Mr. Ali Nabavi and representative of president on the movement for revival of economic units Mr. Seyed Amir Hossein Madani signed in presence of First Vice-President a memorandum of understanding (MoU) to cooperate on revival and renovation of 20 big leading industries.

The topics of this MoU which was signed by Nabavi and Madani are cooperation, consultation, synergy and participation of both sides in preparing requirements and required equipment, providing necessary investment, implementing the executive operation related to the revival of empowerment, increase of capacity of 20 big leading and unfinished industrial units, creating the grounds for continuation of production activities of the said units and monitoring in line with continuation of the production activities.

In the ceremony, First Vice-President Mohammad Mokhber emphasized that the movement for revival of the economic and production units is one of the biggest capacities for advancing the goals of the government in line with creating jobs. He added that the easiest and fastest way for return of the idle assets in the country is to revive production units and idle and semi-idle units with reliance on the knowledge-based companies.

He noted that there are some 52,000 semi-active and idle economic and production units in the country, stipulating that these economic entrepreneurs are national assets whose activation will help a great deal to job creation and rise in the GDP.

Then Head of IDRO Mr. Nabavi on the sidelines of ceremony of signing the MoU for revival of over 1500 production and economic units pointed to the great experience of IDRO in the field of renovating industries, adding that according to this MoU, IDRO is tasked to identify and revive big industrial units and unfinished projects and it is also tasked to provide all required preparations for revival of these units and continuation of their productions.

Then the CEO of Industrial Management Institute Mr. Abolfazl Kiani Bakhtiari said that that the institute will hold some courses for empowerment and revival of the units through identifying the problems.
