IDRO Ready for ParticipationWith Knowledge-Based Companies
Deputy Minister of Industry, Mine and Trade and Head of Industrial Development and Renovation Organization of Iran (IDRO) emphasized readiness of the organization for participation with knowledge-based companies and highlighted mission of the organization for maximum efforts for materialization of the slogan of the current year.
Mohsen Salehinia pointed to naming of the year by the Supreme Leader as the year of production, knowledge-based and job creation and to the special attention of the Supreme Leader to the knowledge-based companies, and said that expansion of knowledge-based life in the national industries is of the main priorities of the IDRO.
Stating that earlier IDRO has provided the ground for connecting the knowledge-based and technological companies to the units requiring their assistance in the production unit and industry in line with its developmental and facilitating tasks, Salehinia stipulated that implementation of this project has both led to the development of indigenization of technological and knowledge-based products and to the decrease of imports of such items of goods which have boosted the market of knowledge-based companies’ products as well as rise in revenues and job creation of those companies which are actually startup.
He then pointed to the cooperation of the IDRO with Science and Technology Vice-Presidency, National Innovation Fund and other supportive centers for financing and supporting the knowledge-based companies and expressed hope this trend of support would be accelerated and expanded in New Year.
Salehinia also pointed to the provision of required infrastructures in the IDRO Kavosh Research Park and called the park an appropriate ground for deployment of the elite knowledge-based companies.
