MST Posts 38% Growth in Production, 102% in Sales
Deputy Industry, Mine and Trade Minister and Head of Industrial Development and Renovation Organization of Iran (IDRO) Mr. Mohsen Salehinia announced 38% growth in production and 102% in sales in Machine Sazi Tabriz Group (MST) comparing to the same period last year.
Referring to this point that industry of manufacture of different types of machine tools is one of the mother and productive industries, Salehinia said that for this reason IDRO in line with the policies of developing national industries and strategies of Ministry of Industry, Mine and Trade in a period from mid-March 2021 to January 2022 produced 872 sets of machine (homogenous with 1.5-meter milling machine) at MST.
Salehinia also pointed to the existence of full chain of production at Machine Sazi Tabriz Group in the sanctions era, adding that the amount of products of Machine Sazi Casting Company in a period between mid-March 2021 and January 2022 was 4,285 tons of different casting and forging parts.
He added that the policies of the ministry and IDRO are based on maximizing and deepening indigenization of required machineries for the production units.
Salehinia noted that Casting Company of Machine Sazi Tabriz also produced 5,000 tons in 11 months of the current Iranian calendar year and its production has increased 34% comparing to last year, adding that this growth has happened while the amount of the production waste in the same period has slumped from 7% to 3%.
