Developing and Improving Quality of Industries Is IDRO’s Priority
Deputy Minister of Industry, Mine and Trade and Head of Industrial Development and Renovation Organization of Iran (IDRO) says the main priority of the programs of IDRO is to develop and improve the quality of industries.
While visiting Sabzevar Khodro Cable Company and inaugurating the projects of this company, Mr. Mohsen Salehinia said considering the unprofessional behavior in the international trade by Iran’s foreign partners after the illegal U.S. sanctions, production of some of the auto parts, which were imported by the auto industry in the past, were indigenized with local capabilities.
He noted that production of indigenized parts of the assembled cars as well as developing and reforming the structure, renovation and improving the quality of production by utilizing the domestic capacities has been the main priorities of IDRO’s programs.
Salehinia noted that this year 50,000 Tara car will be produced at Iran Khodro Company, stating that with the defined development and with the amount of production of cars through employing the specialized forces, expansion and renovation of auto industry in the country is provided.
He referred to the existing capacities at Iran Khodro Company and said the technical and engineering capacities of the personnel of Sabzevar Khodro Cable Company, one of the strongest sub-divisions of Iran Khodro, can meet the demands of this auto-making company.
