Iran, Belarus to Expand Cooperation On Rail Transportation, Hi-Tech

First Deputy Industry Minister of Belarus in his meeting with Head of Industrial Development and Renovation Organization of Iran (IDRO) explored ways for expansion of cooperation on industry.

Gennady Svidersky who is head of joint task force of Iran-Belarus industrial co-operations met the Head of IDRO Mr. Mansour Moazzami and exchanged views
on ways of boosting cooperation .

During the meeting, Svidersky said that the meeting was aimed at exploring potentials and capacities of both countries for enhancing the bilateral trade.

He highlighted industrial activities of Belarus, adding that the country has worked on drilling and restoring oil wells and has had achievements. He noted that Belarus
is ready for cooperation with Iran.

Moazzami, for his part, delved into details of activities of IDRO in oil, gas, petrochemical, hi-tech industries and railway transportation fields, adding that
the group has had several projects and it still has other projects in hand.

He pointed to railway industries, synthetic fiber and fertilizer as the grounds for cooperation between both states.

Meanwhile, head of international affairs of IDRO Mr. Ali Araqchi said that during the meeting, both sides reached agreement to cooperate in some fields like technology parks, training managers and expansion of engineering services. He added that the agreement is to be signed in form
