IDRO head: Unity to foil Trump’s sinister intentions against Iran
Tehran, July 1, IRNA – Head of Iran’s Industrial Development and Renovation Organization (IDRO) said unity would foil US President Donald Trump’s sinister intentions against the Iranian nation.
Talking to the Islamic Republic News Agency (IRNA) on Sunday while visiting IRNA’s newsroom, Mansour Moazzami said after Trump’s withdrawal from Iran nuclear deal, none of the foreign companies which had earlier started cooperating with IDRO have walked away from their agreements.
He added that IDRO has inked the largest number of agreements with foreign companies after Iran nuclear deal, officially known as the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA) clinched in 2015.
IDRO chief underlined that the foreign companies are not interested to walk away from Iran, but the US is forcing them to do so.
He said the Iranian auto manufacturers have produced over 1,600,000 cars during the last Iranian calendar year, ended March 20, 2018, adding that the figure is slated to hit 1,750,000 autos by the end of the current Iranian year.
