SAIPA to produce cheap cars with Renault cooperation
A new range of automobiles with high quality and cheap price will be manufactured with cooperation of Renault during next Iranian fiscal year (starting March 21, 2018) to provide needs of society, the CEO of SAIPA automaker group announced.
“SAIPA is known with its affordable products and if we miss it, we will lose,” the CEO of SAIPA automaker group, Mohsen Qasem Jahroudi said on Tuesday at the 5th International Conference on Iranian Automotive Industry.
“We focus on manufacturing cars with low price,” he added, citing that the company has held talks with 11 international automaker corporations in recent months to expand the variety of its products.
Jahroudi said, “Now we are the 15th automaker company in the world and we hope to reach 14th rank next year”.
“Iranian auto part manufacturers are now among the international auto part providers and they export their products to other countries and companies like Renault.
