The project, with a production capacity of 20,000 tonnes of calcium carbonate per year, will have positive environmental impacts and prevent excessive logging.
The Council of Ministers convened on Wednesday in a session chaired by President Hassan Rouhani and agreed with investment in paper production out of calcium carbonate by the Iranian Industrial Development and Renovation Organisation in the city of Kharameh, Fars province.
The project, with a production capacity of 20,000 tonnes of calcium carbonate per year, will have positive environmental impacts and prevent excessive logging.
It is also possible to supply all the raw material needed for this project from different parts of the country.
