IDRO, Russian Helicopters ink cooperation agreement
The Industrial Development and Renovation Organization of Iran (IDRO) and The Russian helicopter design and manufacturing company, Russian Helicopters, signed an agreement to expand cooperation.
The agreement was signed in Moscow between the chairman of the board of directors of IDRO, Mansour Moazzami, and Andrey Boginsky, the chairman of the board of directors of Russian Helicopters.
Based on the agreement, IDRO and the Russian company will cooperate in the field of air transportation as well as production of air ambulances. Also, the agreement includes cooperation between the Russian and the Iranian sides on manufacturing equipment related to fire extinguishing.
Earlier, IDRO had finalized an agreement with Russia’s rail equipment producer Transmashholding on manufacturing railway wagons in Iran using Russian finance.
